If you’re planning a Disney cruise, there’s a simple way to add extra value to your vacation—without paying anything extra. But here’s the key thing most people don’t realize: This onboard credit is not something Disney gives you when you book directly. It’s a perk that select travel agents (including me!) offer to our clients. Let’s break it down.
What Is Onboard Credit?
Onboard Credit (OBC) is like spending money loaded onto your onboard account for use during your cruise. You can use it for:
Shore excursions
Spa treatments
Specialty dining
Photo packages
Souvenirs
Drinks and gratuities
It makes your vacation feel a little more upgraded—without increasing your budget.

Where Does This Onboard Credit Come From?
This is where things get important. Disney does not offer this onboard credit for direct bookings. When you book directly through Disney, you’ll pay the exact same cruise fare—but you won’t receive this bonus.
When you book through me, I use a portion of my commission to provide onboard credit as a thank-you for booking with me.
So you’re not paying extra…You’re just getting more.

Why Book Through Me Instead of Direct?
Since pricing is the same either way, the real question becomes: Do you want more value for the same price? When you book with me, you get:
✔️ The same Disney pricing
✔️ Expert planning and guidance
✔️ Help with stateroom selection, dining, and activities
✔️ Support before and during your trip
✔️ Exclusive onboard credit you won’t get booking direct
Booking direct means doing it all yourself—and leaving that extra value on the table.
How Much Onboard Credit Can You Get?
Your onboard credit is based on the commissionable cruise fare and how the cruise was originally booked. For full details on how much is offered, see the chart below.

Already Booked Directly with Disney?
You may still be able to take advantage of this—if you act quickly.
If your cruise:
Was booked within the last 30 days
Is not paid in full
You can transfer your reservation to me, and I can add onboard credit and take over planning from there.
Important Details to Know
Onboard credit must be used during your cruise (it can’t be cashed out)
It’s based on the commissionable cruise fare (not taxes, fees, or extras)
If your cruise price changes, your onboard credit may adjust
It’s not guaranteed for last-minute bookings (within 72 hours of sailing)

The Bottom Line
You can book your Disney Cruise in two ways:
Directly through Disney → same price, no onboard credit
Through me → same price, plus onboard credit and expert help
It’s the same vacation… just with more value.
