Grand Floridian Cafe Review

As a travel professional who specializes in Disney destinations, I've been able to train onsite at Walt Disney World (just booked my next onsite training for November 2021)! I've also had the opportunity to travel there many times with my family. As a result, I've eaten at a lot of Disney dining establishments: everything from kiosks, to quick service locations, to table service meals, to character meals! But when I'm asked which restaurant at Walt Disney World is my all-time favorite, my answer without hesitation is Grand Floridian Cafe.

I believe that some of the best restaurants at Disney World are at the onsite resort hotels and Grand Floridian Cafe is at the top of my list. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is a deluxe level property on the Magic Kingdom monorail line. It also features boat access and a private walkway to Magic Kingdom, making it really easy to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Grand Floridian Cafe on your Magic Kingdom day.

The restaurant itself is filled with lots of natural light and offers a beautiful view out onto the garden areas of the resort. My favorite meal to have here is dinner because they have the most amazing fried chicken! I also love their "nojito" mocktail. My husband's go-to favorite is the lobster thermidor burger. Every time we have eaten at Grand Floridian Cafe we have had excellent food and service.

Not sure which Walt Disney World restaurants are best for your family? That's just one reason to work with a travel professional like me! Not only do I help book your dining reservations (so you don't have to wake up at 6am EST to do it yourself), but I also provide personalized recommendations based on my experience dining at Disney World. Best of all: this and other planning services are FREE to you if you book your vacation through me at the same price as booking it yourself on Disney's website. So, what are you waiting for?
